A quick review of 2019
2019 is over and we enter a New Year 2020
But before we move on I want to say how proud I am of each and every one of you. As I watch you work through your struggles, trials and tribulations I am amazed at your achievements and your mastery of the challenges, both personal and musical. In fact you never cease to amaze me.
This year we have two debutants on the stage Chris C and Andrew L who successfully performed in public. Another two outstanding students Yolanda Z and Sakshi Y were awarded a trophy and ribbon at the MCMTA Judged Recital. In addition, I recognize each of you who participated in the MSMTA Keyboard Musicianship Test and showed tremendous preparation and achieved outstanding grades.
Success and happiness occur because you have the courage to push on the boundaries of what you know in order to learn new things. You will remember the frustrations but push on to the new challenges and it is good to feel it and then pick yourself up and go on again.
I am not sure each of you realize how extraordinary you are but I know and encourage you to do more. “Practice makes perfect”
